Application of IR spectroscopy for defining deuterium content in the water

The methods for determining the deuterium content in water using infrared absorption spectra are presented in the article. A new technique for calculating the deuterium concentration in water in a wide range of concentrations using the wave numbers of the deformation vibrations of water molecules is presented.
