The process of developing a permanent connection between a piezoelectric transducer made of lithium niobate and a crystal made of paratellurite in two ways — by welding and gluing — is described, and the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies are revealed. The dependence of the thickness of the In film on the sample size of the sprayed material was determined.

Key words: acousto-optical cells, piezoelectric transducer, diffusion welding, cold welding.
