Almanac of Modern Metrology, no 10 is essentially a continuation of one of previous issues of the journal (No 8), which was dedicated to time and frequency measurements — the most required field of metrological research.
Both editions were prepared based on materials of a first class of the Research and Educational Centre of VNIIFTRI under the professional development program for metrologists.

Al’manac of Modern Metrology № 1 (9) 2017
The articles covering research in the field of time-and-frequency and coordinate-time measurements are represented in most works that determine the theme of the next issue of the Al’manac of Modern Metrology no 9 (the first issue in 2017).
The first part of the Al’manac attracts considerable attention to fundamental research of aspects of the space metrology, gravitational, gravimetrical and frequency-and-time measurements. The works deal with the direct detection of the gravitational waves, investigation of relativistic synchronization methods for ground and onboard atomic clocks; synchronization and comparison of the time scale.

Al’manac of Modern Metrology № 3 (8) 2016
The preparation of the next, eighth issue of the Al’manac of Modern Metrology coincided with an important event — the first class of the scientific and educational center of FSUE “VNIIFTRI”. The Main Metrological Center of the State Service for Time and Frequency (GMTs GSVCh VNIIFTRI) organized this class within the framework of the advanced training of metrology staff. This is emphasized in the Preface to the issue. The first lesson was devoted to the measurement of time, frequency and determination of the Earth’s rotation parameters — the main and the most relevant research area, which is widely demanded for many sectors of the economy, including transport, aviation, space complexes, science, etc.
