Abstract. The article presents the results of study on reducing the combined standard uncertainty of pH measurements using the primary method for determining the pH in Harned cells. As a result of the inclusion of modern precision equipment in the state primary pH standard, the combined standard uncertainty of pH measurements was reduced by 40 %.
