Representation of the hydrophone frequency response by a formula as practical feasibility and expansion of the capabilities of metrology digital platform

Abstract. For a compact representation of the complex frequency characteristic of a hydrophone sensitivity, it is proposed to use an analytical expression based on a hydrophone model in the form of a combination of a non-minimum phase advance element and a minimum phase linear quadripole. The implementation and use of this proposal are discussed from the point of view of protection of confidential information and motivational events within the framework of the development of a digital metrology platform. Examples of constructing analytical expressions for experimentally obtained complex frequency characteristics of the sensitivity of hydrophones, widely used in metrological practice, are given. The advantages of compact presentation of verification data by an approximating function and features of the implementation of proposals in the development of a digital platform are discussed.
