Abstract. There is a shortage of qualified personnel in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements specifically qualified metrologists. Metrology, as the science of measurement, plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data in all fields of science and technology [1], [2]. Teaching metrology in higher education institutions faces a number of problems that require a systematic approach to solve them. Qualified personnel in the field of metrology and metrological support are the basis for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurements in various industries [3]. However, there is a significant shortage of specialists, which negatively affects the quality of scientific and production processes. The need to increase the number of specialities taught in the field of metrology, increase the level of competence of students and teachers, and involve specialized organizations interested in future graduates in the educational process is justified here.
