Abstract. The lack of requirements in the national system of standards of the CISPR series for reference test sites for electromagnetic compatibility tests leads to the need to create the means and measurement methods necessary to ensure the assessment of compliance of these sites. The method of calculating of site insertion loss (SIL) is considered. Special software has been developed to calculate the theoretical values of site insertion losses of a reference test site based on analytical expressions and based on the methods of moments. Special software has been developed for experimental measurements of the insertion losses of the reference test site. A set of half-wave precision dipoles has been developed. The obtained results will allow the implementation of the method for calculating the site insertion loss, thereby ensuring the required measurement accuracy in terms of tests for interference emission of radiated industrial radio interference, comparable with the requirements of foreign standards.
