The acoustic properties of the recorder are investigated in this work. The mass-dimensional model of the recorder and the advantages of the proposed design are described, the results of experiments at low frequencies are presented. The factors affecting the metrological characteristics of the recorder are investigated.
Considerable attention is paid to the localization of scattering sources on the recorder body.
A measurement procedure (IP) for studying the acoustic properties of an m-recorder is proposed. Conclusions are given based on the results of experiments.
Conclusions are given based on the results of experiments. The advantage of the proposed IP is confirmed, which makes it possible to perform calibrations at such low frequencies where the influence of diffraction is negligible.
Some recommendations for the development and configuration of the receiver are formulated. A procedure for calibrating an acoustic receiver in laboratory pool conditions is proposed.
The problems of the validation of the recorder, the problem of ensuring the traceability of the created measuring instrument to primary standards are discussed. The necessity of including the developed by VNIIFTRI methods in the standard for calibrating of recorders is considered.
Key words: recorder, small-scale model, measuring procedure, acoustic properties, calibration, laboratory pool conditions.
