Al’manac of Modern Metrology № 1 (21) 2020, pages 27–49
Based on the analysis of well-known foreign proposals for the development of space laser gravitational wave antennas (GWA), the article proposes a project for development the space la-ser interference GWA based on the application of stable mid-altitude orbits of GLONASS satellites «SOIGA» (Space Optical Interferometric Gravitation Antenna). In different versions of the anten-na, the length of the bases between the three satellites is from 36 to 43.3 thousand km.
The frequency range of recorded gravitational waves in such an antenna is 0.2-10 Hz. To de-velop the antenna, it is assumed that the domestic backlog wide use available when developing GLONASS satellite platforms and their orbital structures, methods for managing the system and its metrological support, as well as the backlog for developing laser standards of length, will be widely used.
Key words: space laser gravitational antenna, GLONASS satellites, orbital structures, control methods.
