Annotation. A method for constructing a conversion function for a measuring transmitter based on a semiconductor diode by approximating its amplitude characteristic is considered. Various methods of approximation are proposed and tested, which satisfy the requirements of optimality in terms of accuracy and the number of parameters of the approximating function, their comparative analysis is carried out. The derivation of the transformation function (FP) is carried out on the basis of fractional-rational functions. An estimation of the number of experimental points of the amplitude characteristic required to achieve a given uncertainty is made.
