Abstract. Based on the analysis of regulatory documents that regulate the main provisions of the development of products (products of a high technical level), the main types of planning documents for metrological support are given, the main objects and tasks of metrological support of the product during development are formed, and a typical content of the section “Scope of work on metrological support” of the metrological support program of the product at the “Development” stage in relation to the “Draft design” stage of development work is developed.
