Abstract. The article presents a review of foreign and domestic publications on the state and prospects for the development of quantum sensors of the Earth’s gravitational and magnetic fields, suitable for preparing navigation maps. Ground-based quantum means for measuring the difference in gravitational potentials, their first and second gradients, as well as the deviations of plumb lines are analyzed. The implemented foreign space quantum-optical gravitational gradiometers are considered.
