Abstract. The paper outlines the problem of gravity determination from strapdown inertial gravimeter measurements in the postprocessing mode. The inertial gravimeter includes a strapdown inertial navigation system (strapdown INS) and GNSS receivers. Mathematically, the gravimetry problem is formulated as a problem of strapdown INS aiding using GNSS data. We present the models of strapdown INS — GNSS integration derived in the most common cases of the reference frame (the inertial and geodetic frames). Numerical results of postprocessing raw data from a strapdown airborne gravimeter using the developed strapdown INS — GNSS integration algorithm are discussed.
Keywords: strapdown gravimeter, strapdown INS, GNSS, postprocessing.
