Abstract. The paper proposes a new method for measuring the gravitational constant G using a high-precision absolute gravimeter and a movable perturbing mass. The principles of the measuring setup are described; different implementation schemes are presented, and the expected measurement accuracy is evaluated. The method achieves significantly higher precision compared to existing experiments. The proposed approaches are applicable in fundamental gravity studies as well as in geodesy and navigation tasks.

Keywords: gravitational constant, fundamental physical constants, cryogenic gravimeter.
