Space gravity gradiometers are effective measuring tools for determining the satellite model of the Earth’s gravitational field. In implemented space gradiometers, spacecraft or airborne accelerometers were used as test masses. In this paper, we analyze the possibility of using a space gradiometer with onboard free masses as proof mass.
