The editorial board of the magazine Al’manac of Modern Metrology offers fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation to all authors, reviewers, representatives of scientific institutions, universities and other educational institutions.

Rules for sending articles

The volume of the article is not limited (including tables, illustrations, literature).

Before the text, a list of authors and abstracts in Russian and English is placed.

Article materials are printed in Microsoft Office Word text editor using Times New Roman 12 pt font with single spacing, abstract in italics (11 pt). The text is printed on A4 paper.

The page number is not affixed.

The title is printed in capital letters in bold, font size 12 pt.

The list of authors is printed indicating the place of work, address, telephone, e-mail and is located under the title.

Gaps between the title and the list of authors, the list of authors and the abstract, the abstract and the text of theses (reports) are made in 1 line.

UDC is indicated in the upper left part of the first page of the text, the size 11 pt.

Formulas, symbols, etc. must be typed in Microsoft Equation. The height of formula sizes: variable 12 pt, large index 10 pt, small index 8 pt.

Formulas are numbered in parentheses, references are placed in square brackets.

Illustrations should be numbered and have captions.

Bibliographic references are given in accordance with GOST 7.05-2008 “The System of Standards on Information, Librarianship and Publishing. Bibliography link. General requirements and rules of drafting of the Russian Federation.

The materials are accompanied by an expert opinion on the possibility of open publication for citizens of the Russian Federation, which must be presented in printed form and sent by mail or in electronic (scanned) form.

Materials are sent to e-mail mnog@vniiftri.ru, after which no changes can be made to the text.

The magazine Al’manac of Modern Metrology is published and distributed in the Russian language. 

In Al’manac of Modern Metrology, scientific articles on all sections of metrology are published. Complete original works on fundamental research in the field of metrology; scientific articles containing new experimental results; methodical works, including a description of the new measurement techniques; methodical work, including a description of the new measurement techniques; theoretical materials describing new principles, approaches to ensuring the uniformity and accuracy of measurements, etc. are accepted for publication. The article should contain a clear statement of the problem and conclusions indicating the scope of the results.

By sending his/her article to the magazine, the author confirms that the material sent to the editor has never been published anywhere (with the exception of articles presented at scientific conferences, but not published in full, as well as those accepted for publication in the materials of a scientific conference, usually in the form of theses, parts of a lecture, review or dissertation) and is not under consideration in other publications.

The author agrees to the publication of an article in Russian in the magazine Al’manac of Modern Metrology. When coordinating an edited article, the author must inform the editors by e-mail of his agreement to the publication in Russian.

When submitting an article, the author must notify the editor of all previous publications of this article, which may be considered as multiple or duplicate publications of the same or similar work. The author must notify the editor whether the article already contains published materials. In this case, the new article should contain links to the previous publication.

All submitted articles are reviewed. The date of acceptance of the article is the date of receipt of a positive review. In case of disagreement between the author and reviewers, the final decision on the expediency of publishing the article is taken by the editorial board of the magazine. If the article is rejected by the editorial board, further correspondence with the author is terminated.

Authors, citizens of the Russian Federation, should submit an expert opinion that the work can be published in the open press. Expert opinion can be sent in the printed form or by e-mail in scanned form.

Publication of articles in the journal is free of charge.

Reprints of published articles are not sent to the authors.

Articles to the editors should be submitted in printed form in 2 copies with the application of electronic media CD-R / CD-RW or sent by e-mail. All files must be checked by antivirus software!

The abstract should be brief, no more than 10 lines (up to 250 words), briefly and clearly describing the main results of the work. Key words no more than 7. The title of the article, the names of the authors and the place of work, abstract and keywords should be given in Russian and English.

The material of the article is a text, including abstracts in Russian and English, a list of references, captions to figures and tables, are drawn up in one file, graphic materials in separate files with corresponding numbering (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, etc.) The article must contain UDC. The article must be signed by the author (s) with the full name, first name and patronymic, academic degree, academic title, place of work, contact telephone numbers, and e-mail address.

During preparation of materials the following computer programs and regulatory documents should be used. Text material must be typed in Microsoft Office Word. The font of the main text is Times New Roman, the font size is 12, the line spacing is single, justified; page parameters  upper field 2.3 cm, lower 2.3 cm, left 3.9 cm, right 1.5 cm; for text you can use italic or bold. Articles sent with a minimum of formatting, do not use styles and templates.

All symbols shown in the figures should be clarified in the main or caption texts. The size of the picture should not exceed 14×20 cm.

Formulas should be typed in Microsoft Office Word using over-and-subscript symbols, special characters or in the MathType program. The exponents and indices should be typed above or below the line of letters to which they refer: K12, A3, B2. Formulas should be uniform and integral, i.e. it is unacceptable to type values ​​in one formula in different programs. Expression should be given after the formula (decoding of all given letter symbols of values). The sequence of deciphering the letter symbols should correspond to the sequence of the arrangement of these symbols in the formula. Only the most important formulas referenced in the following text should be enumerated.

Tables (and references to them) must have consecutive sequence numbers and headings.

Units of measurement and lettering of physical quantities must meet the requirements of GOST 8.417–2002 “GSI. Units of measurement”, and the terms the requirements of the relevant state standards.

In bibliographic references, the names of the authors and the names of journals and books should be indicated in the original transcription. Links are given in accordance with GOST 7.0.5–2008 “The system of standards for information, librarianship and publishing. Bibliography link. General requirements and rules of drafting. For books the name and initials of the author, title, volume (part, issue), place, name of the publisher, year of publication is indicated. For journal articles the name and initials of the author, the title of the article and journal, year of publication, volume or part, number (issue), page is indicated. References in the text to the sources indicated in the list of used literature are indicated by numbers in square brackets, in the order of mentioning in the text, for example [1], [24]. The bibliographic list must contain at least 23 works published in the last 10 years.
