Abstract. The paper considers an algorithm for measuring alternating voltage of various forms and a method for processing the results of observations in order to obtain the values of the parameters of the measured signal. The main purpose of this work is to identify by students the features of measuring three types of voltmeters with different measuring transducers, as well as the possibility of visualizing the processes taking place on oscillograms. This work allows students to expand their theoretical knowledge of the discipline “Metrology and Measurements” and acquire skills in organizing and conducting a measuring experiment. In accordance with the requirements for the educational process on digitalization, modern digital devices and other digital tools are used in the work. The relevance of the work is due to the fact that in the conditions of continuous development of industry, it is necessary to use more powerful voltages, which means their measurement and control. A huge part of the components of industrial equipment operates on direct current, and the breakdown of control units due to voltage surges will cause equipment downtime. And in the conditions of work in 2022, it is impossible to replace these blocks with new ones, since the main manufacturers of computer equipment have stopped supplying their components to the territory of the Russian Federation. In this regard, more accurate and reliable monitoring devices are needed.
