Abstract. The article contains a brief description of the developed rapid test for determining the excess sulfur content in automotive fuel. The rapid test allows governing authorities to signi­ficantly reduce the number of samples taken for in-depth laboratory analysis, and within 5 minutes to detect excess sulfur content in them.
