Abstract. The results of development of hydrogen frequency standard on the basis of active hydrogen maser with sapphire storage bulb and allowing significantly to reduce the size of the cavity and the hydrogen standard are presented. The issues of ensuring high stability of the standard frequency with the new automatic cavity control system are considered.
