Abstract. Determination of the parameters of the Earth’s gravitational field in remote and hard-to-reach territories and waters, especially in the Arctic zone, is possible using only space-based measuring instruments. This paper examines the ballistic structure of a multi-satellite low-orbit cluster to determine gravitational potential gradients.

Keywords: Earth’s gravitational field, gravitational potential gradient, nanosatellite cluster, onboard navigation equipment.
