Abstract. The article presents the main aspects for measuring the characteristics of semi-anechoic chambers designed for testing automotive components and modules for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The technique implements the method of modeling the electromagnetic field radiated by the antenna in the form of a segment of a long conductive line (long-wire antenna), and allows for the anechoic and semi-anechoic cameras validation in the frequency range from 150 kHz to 1 GHz. The article also presents the results of the approbation of this technique.
