The article considers the current state of the State primary standard of the units of absorbed dose and the absorbed dose rate of photon and electron radiation of GET 38-2011 and the results of its improvement from 1972 to 2019. The results of key comparisons with the standard BIPM are given, and development prospects are outlined.
