Measuring means and methods for the improvement of the unite of the standard frequency deviation

This paper deals with the research results of possible methods and means of measurements with the aim of improving the State Primary Special Standard of the unit of deviation frequency. The possibility and necessity of the direct digital synthesis` application in the Primary Standard of the unit of the frequency deviation were proved. The measuring accuracy was confirmed by four independent measuring methods for which the deviation did not exceed 0.024%. The range of the carrier frequency was extended by seven times. The range of the carrier frequency was extended up by ten times maintaining the accuracy of measurements.
