Standards-carriers of microwave power in waveguide ducts on the basis of multi-probe transducers

The main focus of the published work is on the traceability of a unit of power of electromagnetic oscillations from working measuring instruments (microwave watts) to the State primary standard of a unit of microwave power, as well as the role played by standards-carriers for transferring a unit of microwave power between the standards. Their main characteristics, the construction of the four-probe transducer of the standard-carrier are given. The frequency dependence of the VSWR input of the four-probe transducer in the 16 × 8 mm duct is shown. It is reported that all the necessary operations during the setting up and operating of the standard-carrier are implemented with the help of a multi-channel measuring unit and the corresponding software.
The developed sample of the standard-carrier for waveguide ducts from 35 × 15 to 16 × 8 mm is produced and provides input VSWR of transducers with less than 1.05.
