Metrology of digital flows of information in packet networks of data transmission

The article deals with the development of a system to ensure the unity of measurements for the key parameters of modern digital communication networks, such as the bandwidth of networks, the amount of data transmitted, the delay of data packet, the jitter delay of the transmitted data packet. The necessity of modernization of the national primary standard of units of measurement of volumes of the transferred digital information is proved.
