Annotation. The paper considers the main methods for measuring the mass concentration of aerosol particles, taking into account their field of application, advantages and disadvantages. The main results of studies of the metrological characteristics of the State primary standard of the dispersed parameter units of aerosols, suspensions and powdered materials within the compa­risons with the equipment of the D.I. Mendeleev All-Russian Institute for Metrology (VNIIM) and traceability to NIST.
