Drive unit of short haul reflector of a two-wave interferometer for registration of fractional parts of interference bands

Annotation. Piezo actuator has been developed and incorporated into a two-wave laser interfero­meter that simulates the movement of the reference arm mirror to accumulate measurement results and ensure a resolution of less than one interference fringe. The results of measurements of a laser interferometer, developed and improved at FSUE “VNIIFTRI” for reproducing a unit of length in the range up to 60 m, with the inclusion of a reflector drive unit in the optical arrangement, are consi­dered. The influence of meteorological conditions of laboratories on measurements is estimated.
