Annotation. Currently, an urgent problem is the identification of violations related to the quality of automotive fuel, including in terms of sulfur content and compliance with the requirements of the Euro-5 standard. The article contains a brief description of the developed express method for determining the excess sulfur content in automotive fuel, which allows the governing authorities to significantly reduce the number of samples taken for in-depth laboratory analysis.
