Annotation. A method for calibrating acousto-optic alcoholometers which includes a single procedure valid for the entire period of operation of the alcoholometer completed with two-channel optical calibrated cuvettes for multicomponent alcohol-containing solutions is presented.
A comparative analysis of the measuring characteristics of an acousto-optic alcoholometer with a prototype — areometer for alcohol is given. The technical results of the calibration are presented.

Key words: areometer, acousto-optical alcoholometer, cuvette, reference channel, measuring channel, standard water-alcohol solution, volume ratio of ethyl alcohol, multicomponent alcohol-containing solution.
