Annotation. The article examines the accuracy of antenna characteristics measurements in the near field zone of their radiation in the case of scanning the electromagnetic field over non-canonical surfaces. On the basis of the asymptotic transmission formula for near field zone of the antenna under test and the far field zone of the probe, a numerical model of measurements on near field measurement system has been developed. It is proposed to use the equivalent noise level to estimate the measurements accuracy of the gain, amplitude and phase radiation patterns, cross-polarization level and antenna ellipticity factor. A simulation of scanning an electromagnetic field over a non-canonical surface using a collaborative robot with six rotational degrees of freedom has been carried out. Verification against experimental data has shown the qualitative agreement of the equivalent noise level, as well as the quantitative agreement of its maximum value.

Key words: antenna measurements, near field, antenna coupling, electromagnetic field transformation, numerical model.
