Annotation. In this work, the optimal impedance that meets the requirements for creating a broadband transducer is selected by calculation modelling. The thicknesses of the acoustically binding layers of silver and indium, which provide the impedance and frequency characteristics of the wideband transducer, are experimentally selected.

Key words: acousto-optic cell, acoustic impedance, wideband transducer, acoustically binding layers, Smith chart.
