Method of increasing the positioning accuracy by measuring the parameters of the gravitational field based on moment functions

The article discusses a new approach in determining the location using Earth’s gravity field measurements. It is based on the calculation of moment functions, which are subsequently used in pattern recognition algorithms. Based on this approach, an increase in the accuracy and efficiency is shown for the proposed method in comparison with classical correlation algorithms for the gravity field navigation.
