The article is devoted to sound absorption of the metrological water tank. Acoustic protection measures for reducing the water tank noise are discussed. Attention is paid to the design of the sound-absorbing covering. Primary measurement information is provided. The question of building a multifunctional metrological water tank is separately raised.
