In the work, based on a single approach, various aspects of the problems of calibrating an underwater noise receiver in a water tank in the presence of reverberation disturbance are
described. This is not about a laboratory hydrophone, but about an underwater device used in measurements of various types of noise in the sea.
The calibration problem is complicated not only by the lack of consistency of calibration methods, but also by sufficient experience in this area.
The results of the development of original calibration methods in conditions burdened by reverberation of sound in the water tank are highlighted. The modernity of such studies is substantiated.
The methods and signals for calibrating acoustic receivers are investigated. Attention is paid to the low-frequency calibration of the hydrophone over the field in the non-sound absorbing water tank, to experiments to confirm the correctness of this method.
A separate section of the article is devoted to key comparisons of the hydrophone calibration results of the Consultative Committee for Acoustics, Ultrasound and Vibration of the CIPM, in which the State special standard of sound pressure unit in the water environment GET 55-91 participated. We are talking about the tasks that VNIIFTRI has set for itself, participating in these comparisons, about the second key comparisons CCAUV.W-K2.
A separate table presents the budget for the uncertainties of the calibration results of the reference hydrophone at frequencies below 10 kHz.

Key words: recorder, calibration, laboratory water tank conditions, reflecting sound boundaries, calibration methods, key comparisons, budget of uncertainties of calibration results.
