Abstract

This review article describes the participation of the State Primary Standard of Unit of Mass Fraction and Unit of Mass (Molar) Concentration of Inorganic Components in Aqueous Soluions Based on Gravimetric and Spectral Methods GET 217 in international key comparisons: SIM.QM‑S7 “Trace Metals in Drinking Water”; CCQM‑K128 “Measurement of Heavy Metals and Organo‑Tin in Leather Powder”; APMP.QM‑S10 “Elements in Food Supplement”; EURAMET.QM‑S11 “Determination of Elements in River Water”. The aim of this participation was to demonstrate the standard’s measurement capabilities and ensure international comparability of measurements results of the content of elements in various matrices. The methods used included gravimetric standard additions (with mass spectrometry and optical emission spectroscopy) and isotope dilution mass spectrometry. Results confirm that GET 217 measurements for various matrices (drinking water, river water, leather powder, food supplements) are comparable to those of other national metrological institutions and designated institutes.
