The article discusses the approach to building a prototype of the equipment of the ground-based navigation system for geophysical fields. The structure of such a system is presented. The first measurements were performed in order to form gravitational and magnetic maps to ensure navigation. In conclusion, the accuracy of navigation along the route is estimated using the software-mathematical model of the prototype equipment of the ground-based navigation system for geophysical fields.
Keywords: geophysical field navigation, Earth’s gravitational field, Earth’s magnetic field.
