Stages of development and state of domestic development of global autonomous navigation systems

The article presents the stages of development of autonomous global navigation systems for aircraft using data on natural geopotential. The main problems that were solved during the development of surface fields and which are to be solved during the development of spatial geopotential are shown. The main results of the performed research works are briefly stated. An assessment of the degree of readiness of autonomous global navigation systems in geopotential for the implementation of R&D work is given.
