For the metrological support of high-precision methods with inductively coupled plasma at the Russian metrological institute of technical physics and radio engineering (VNIIFTRI) four types of reference materials of the composition of an aqueous solution of metals (ISP-SO) have been developed.
Allowed certified values of the mass fraction of the element (mass concentration) in the devel-oped ICP-SO vary from 800 to 1200 mg/kg (from 800 to 1200 mg/dm3
). The developed ICP-SO can be used to ensure metrological traceability of measurements of inorganic components in aqueous solutions to the State primary standard of units of mass fraction and mass (molar) concentration of inorganic components in aqueous solutions based on the gravimetric and spectral methods of GET 217-2018.

Key words: mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma, optical emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma, aqueous solution, reference material, water analysis, inorganic component, lead, lithium, cobalt, cadmium.
